Colo Chair

Colo Chair more information

Colo Chair design kaschkasch, derives its name from the city of Cologne, which is home to the design studio behind this product. Karl Andersson & Söner wanted a chair that offered good seating comfort, both with and without a padded seat, and one that combined a high sensation of natural wood with elegant lines and an innovative design that ensured it was both versatile and linkable.

The result was the folding Colo Chair – the perfect solution not only when flexible seating arrangements are required, but also for more permanent set-ups in lunchrooms, cafés, restaurants, canteens and conference rooms. And, for that matter, at home as well, as an extra chair that can be hung out of the way on the wall, ready for use when needed.

Ray

Ray design Indicum Inredningsarkitekter, is one of the results of a project to transform an office with fixed workspaces into one that offers greater flexibility in terms of the work environment. In order to satisfy ambitions to make full use of natural light in the premises, areas were separated by a trellis construction rather than solid screens. The wooden staves in the trellis create patterns of light, subtle contrasts and smooth transitions, while also fulfilling their primary function of dividing and partitioning the space in the room.
The name – Ray – is inspired by the way the trellis construction filters the light and creates rays of differing intensity between the staves.

Ondulé

Ondulé more information

Ondulé design Anton Björsing, is a series of inviting, well-tailored sofas and armchairs that take their inspiration from the undulating form of a corrugated façade. These are furnishings that convey the unmistakable appeal of real wood, while welcoming users in the warm embrace of an upholstered frame. The undulating surface of the backrest and sides, together with the straight vertical lines of the rods gives Ondulé a forceful yet upbeat character

Pivå

Pivå design Kauppi & Kauppi, is a series of pedestal tables in solid wood, each creating a natural setting in which people can congregate and meet. The shape of the pedestal base is inspired by the way the majestic trunk of a leafy tree broadens to meet the ground where it stands and spreads its roots. The form of the base may appear simple and straightforward, but it is in fact a complex construction that is specially designed to provide long-lasting stability and durability.

The aim has been to make full use of all the material in a plank of wood, so that nothing goes to waste. First the plank is sawn into numerous pieces. These are then shuffled and mixed before being reassembled layer upon layer and carefully milled to produce the final fluid lines of the base. This process accentuates the natural shades of the wood and enhances the grain, with the growth rings of the heartwood crating an almost floral effect to give each table its own unique patterning and identity.
